SORP 2005 (second edition)

SORP 2005 was effective for reporting periods beginning on or after 1 April 2005 but ceased to have effect when UK-Irish GAAP was updated in 2014. For reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2015 the choice was between the new FRSSE SORP and FRS 102 SORPs (the FRSSE SORP being subsequently withdrawn from 2016.) The second edition featured here updated the 2005 SORP for changes to charity law in England and Wales and Scotland.
